Armenia has expanded its violations of the humanitarian truce, which came into effect on Monday morning, in the Azerbaijani Karabakh region.
The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry stated in a statement that Armenia continued to violate the ceasefire by targeting Azerbaijani military units and civilians, along the front line between the two countries.
It stated, that the Armenian army violated the ceasefire in several locations on the front line, including the regions of Tovuz, Keda Bay, Tach Ksen, the cities of Tartre, Foguli, Lachin and Agdam.
Earlier, the US State Department announced, in a statement, that Azerbaijan and Armenia had reached a humanitarian armistice agreement, to be implemented as of eight in the morning.
It is noteworthy that Armenia previously ended the ceasefire agreement signed on October 10, by bombing the Azerbaijani city of Ganja with ballistic missiles.
Armenia also violated the second ceasefire agreement, which was reached again on 17 October
