On Monday, Turkish coast guard teams rescued 46 asylum seekers off the coast of Mugla and Mersin states, in the west of the country.
The Anadolu Agency correspondent reported that Coast Guard teams rescued 24 asylum seekers, who were stranded off Bodrum district in the state of Mugla.While 22 other asylum seekers were rescued off the coast of Anamur district, Mersin state.

Immediately, the relevant authorities sent a boat to the Coast Guard to help the refugees at sea and save them from drowning.
And upon completion of the official procedures against asylum seekers, they were transferred to the state’s Immigration Directorate.
