Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Fatih Donmez said that the Fatih ship began exploration work in the “Turkali-1” field in the Black Sea.
Donmaz said in a tweet on Twitter, Thursday, that the Al-Fateh ship had actually begun excavation work, after the necessary preparations were completed.
He added that the exploration work in the aforementioned field will continue for a period of 75 days.
And last Monday, the Turkish Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources announced the arrival of the Al-Fateh ship to the “Turkale-1” exploration area in the Black Sea.
On July 20, the Turkish ship Al-Fateh began its first exploration operation in the “Tuna-1” field in the Black Sea.
On 17 October, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced the discovery of an additional 85 billion cubic meters of natural gas in the Black Sea, bringing the total gas reserves discovered in the “Tuna-1 / Sakarya field” to 405 billion cubic meters.
