“Red Bull” driver, Dutchman Max Verstappen, achieved the fastest round of the third free trials, in the Formula 1 Turkey Grand Prix, in Istanbul.
Verstappen thus renewed his test lead after he scored the best time in the first and second trials of the race, on Friday.

Due to the difficult weather conditions, all drivers recorded at least 20 seconds longer periods of time, compared to the first and second rounds.
Verstappen scored the fastest round with a time of 1 minute 48 seconds, after he crossed the circuit in 1 minute 28 seconds in the second trials, and 1 minute 35 seconds in the first trials.
“Ferrari” competitor Charles Leclerc came second in the third trials, 0.045 seconds behind Verstappen, while the other Red Bull competitor, Thai Alexander Albon, came third, about 1.5 seconds behind his colleague.
Istanbul is hosting the race this year after a break of 9 seasons, as it has hosted 7 races in the past, from 2005 to 2011.
It should be noted that the Formula 1 Turkey Grand Prix is held without fans, based on the decision of the Public Health Council in Istanbul, due to the outbreak of the Corona virus.
