Turkish Cargo, a subsidiary of Turkish Airlines, has started shipping Corona vaccines produced in China to many countries around the world, thanks to its possession of advanced cooling systems.
According to a statement issued by Turkish Airlines, Turkish Cargo provides shipping services to 127 countries.
She added that it began shipping Corona vaccines from China to Brazil via Istanbul, on a 17,000 km journey, noting that the vaccines were placed in 7 containers with special cooling systems, during the shipping process.
She explained that it has established an international shipping corridor to transport medicines between nearly 400 destinations around the world, most notably Mumbai, Brussels, Istanbul, Singapore, Dubai, Basel, London and Amsterdam.
She pointed out that Turkish Cargo, which holds an international certificate for transporting medicines, carried out in light of the Corona pandemic, between January and September, about 40 thousand tons of medicines and medical supplies between countries of the world, achieving a growth of more than 50 percent.
