The Z30 secret witness in the German court places the Caesar archive in the corner and opens the files of the criminal Syrian regime’s criminality, so it becomes Caesar and his archive, nothing in front of the image of criminality and the Holocaust that Assad is doing. These events were narrated by the witness (the emperor) as I describe him in the first session of his testimony, except that the judges adjourned the session after his collapse in front of the court, and the witness was treated for the horror of what he saw and participated in from events that a human mind does not believe and can not be carried out by human beings other than the Assad family and their clique.

The bomb witnessed in (Anwar Raslan) court this week:
It is the most dangerous after “Caesar” … What was revealed by: “Z-30” about the Holocaust of the Lion and its mass graves

(This report is not recommended for people with weak hearts)
Despite the large number of people interested in it, including human rights defenders, activists, journalists, victims and sympathizers, most of them, and perhaps all of them, did not expect the 30th session to be marked in the trial of each of the intelligence colonel * “Anwar Raslan” * and the assistant * “Iyad Al-Gharib” * with this dangerous amount of testimonies , Which left a resounding resonance, like the terrifying pictures leaked by “Caesar”.
The session that “Zaman Al Wasl” * managed to attend and divided into two consecutive days, due to the abundance of what the witness said, opened with a long debate between the defense team of the accused and the court judges about the necessity of uncovering the witness’s face, to verify his identity and provide the opportunity to observe his features during testimony in Way of matching it with what he says
The defense team sought the help of the text of a paragraph of the German law, which supports the prerogative of what he demanded, but the Judges Authority responded with another legal text that gives it the right to hide the features of the witness in order to preserve his security and safety, and thus the debate was settled in favor of keeping the witness’s face behind a mask to facilitate the task
On the morning of September 9, in the presence of the Judges, Prosecution and Defense Authority, and in the presence of Raslan and Al-Gharib and a group of jurists and media professionals, the witness, whom the court called Z-30/07/19, entered the hall with his stature … and his hair …, speaking For hours, his accent … which was marred by an accent … and expressions … allowed us to form an almost clear picture of the basic determinants of the witness’s identity (Zaman Al Wasl preferred to withhold this information in compliance with the principle of witness protection).
The judges did not need to know the identity of the witness “Z-30” nor the content of what he would say, as much as they needed to match what he would say in the hearing, with what he said before the German police, before which he appeared twice, and to obtain confirmations of what he said, Hence, the first request addressed to the witness was that the attendees update the “burials” he participated in.
Here Z-30 initiated to draw a general picture of what he was doing during several years of the revolution (he called it the crisis), starting in the fall of 2011 when two intelligence officers were assigned to the “government department” in which he was working in Damascus, which is a department specialized in affairs. Burial of the dead, on that day and with direct orders from the intelligence services, the witness formed a “working group” of about 15 people who supervised it, and for nearly 6 years (until 2017) it undertook the work of burying huge numbers of victims who died under torture, in two large mass graves.
At the beginning of his “work”, the intelligence services would accompany him to each of Tishreen Hospital and Harasta Military Hospital, with the aim of bringing the bodies and burying them, but later, due to the doubling of the volume of “work” and in order to “facilitate it”, the regime’s intelligence provided the witness “Z-30” with an official, sealed and signed mission With a saloon car (a 14-passenger Nissan van, as he described it) without plates, it was decorated with two pictures of Bashar al-Assad (the witness described him as President) from the front and the back, and that was sufficient to pass it through the various barriers without obstruction.
On average 4 times a week, the witness used to go out between four o’clock and five in the morning in that car to collect his “work team” from several neighborhoods in Damascus, before they all headed to their designated burial place, either in “Najha” (about 18 km south of Damascus) ) Or on the outskirts of “Al-Qatifah” (about 40 km north of Damascus).
There (Najha or al-Qatifah) “refrigerator” trucks filled with corpses preceded them to the site, sometimes arriving shortly after them.
According to the “Z-30” testimony, which was responding to the inquiries of the Supreme Regional Judges Authority in the German “Koblenz”, the load of one refrigerated truck ranged between 500 and 700 bodies, and sometimes it was smaller and carried about 300 bodies, and one truck could be brought to the site, Sometimes 3 trucks come at once, and this is all done almost 4 times a week, which means, according to the estimates of the coded witness, that the system used to bury an average of about 4 thousand bodies a week.
“Z-30” said that the trucks of corpses were often about 11 meters long, ie the size of a “container”, and they came from military hospitals twice a week, and the same is the case for trucks coming from Sednaya prison (they were also large and visited the burial site twice a week. ), And “civil” hospitals such as al-Mujtahid and al-Mouwasat had their share, albeit to a lesser extent, as small refrigerators were supplied from them at a rate of once or twice a month.
The witness described the “work pressure” he was subjected to, saying that they were working “without rest or vacation,” and his duty as the supervisor of the burial team was to record the number of bodies according to the branches sent from them. For example, the district branch, 150 corpses, was recorded. 200 corpses … and so on until the burial is complete, to hand over the schedule to the officer who was assigned to monitor work in the burial office.
“Work”
In the Dictionary of Intelligence
While the witness elaborates on the most accurate details, enumerates the names of the intelligence branches and tries to estimate the number of bodies coming from them, Colonel Anwar Raslan is watching with interest, trying to write down some points of the testimony, while Iyad al-Gharib sits with his head backwards, wearing a medical mask.
The judge asks the witness: What were you recording?
He answers with its contents: I used to write the branch’s name and number … The bodies came naked, with stickers on the forehead or on the chest, with a number and a symbol written on them … As for Sednaya prison, the situation was different, because the burial was on the same day of the execution.
(The witness estimates, saying that the regime used to bury an average of about 4 thousand corpses per week) The judge intervened, asking whether she was returning bodies from Section 40 (which was headed by Hafez Makhlouf, and Iyad al-Gharib served in it for a period before he defected), responds “Z-30 “Yes, State Security Branch, Al-Khatib Branch, State Security Department, Division 40, Palestine Branch, Political Security, Mantika Branch, Patrols Branch, Company 215 and Air Force Intelligence, all of them were sent.
Judge: From which branch were the largest numbers coming from?
The witness, “I used to hear the officers say, Today the State Security Branch worked.”
Judge: What do you mean by that?
Witness: It means that they sent large numbers.
Although the bodies and branches that send the bodies are many and numerous, only two places were chosen for burial, in southern Damascus (Najha) and northern Damascus (al-Qatifah), and there – according to the description of the witness – “lines” were being prepared, meaning longitudinal digging in the form of trenches. The length of one hole can reach 200 meters, 4 meters in width and 6 meters in depth, and it will be excavated by the “Bagher” mechanism.
The “burial team” would enter the cemetery after the “line” had been prepared in advance, where they were subjected to inspection in order to ensure that they did not carry any communication devices or cameras, and immediately afterwards came the moment of encountering unimaginable scenes and smells, and no translator could It reached his ability to give her her right and to transmit her to the German audience with the same description and tone issued by the witness.
(Military hospitals and Saydnaya, share the rations, but the “civilian” hospitals have a share as well)
The doors of the trucks (refrigerators) are opened, and here the witness evokes the sight that he has seen countless times, “Shhhhhhhhh … so the sound appears as if a gas bottle was opened,” trying to represent the sound caused by the gas leakage strongly, confirming that this moment witnesses the emission of very unpleasant odors that can be smelled From long distances, and even attached to the nose and memory for a long time, and nothing could overcome it or remove it, as he says: “The smell of corpses was nesting in my nose, I would never leave my head even though I tried everything. I tried perfume and sterilizers, I could not eat Because of it … but after a while, it became a part of me. “

  • The “corpse” breathed and ran over it, this is about the odors. As for the scenes, “Z-30” confirms before the court: “I saw rivers of blood and worms … The first time, I could not eat anything for several days.”
A member of the judges asked the witness to detail the description of the bodies and their shape, while Colonel “Anwar Raslan” was still listening to the conversation with great concentration, and “Iyad al-Gharib” was holding his head back, preferring to close his eyes.
The witness says that the corpses used to come naked full of red, blue, or blue spots, some of which were pulled out from the fingernails, feet, or both, and some of which went beyond that to cutting a member of the body (the witness mentions a corpse he saw with the penis cut off from it, in a scene that reproduces a picture The tortured child Hamza Al-Khatib).
The witness confirms that the faces of some of the bodies were deformed, as if a chemical substance was applied to them to obscure their features, while some of the bodies arrived completely rickety, transforming into what resembles a mucous substance.
(He who killed more is said to have “worked” more)
The corpses coming from Sednaya prison were different from the bodies coming from the branches and hospitals, and while the bodies coming from “Sednaya” were naked like others, they were free of smell because they were “fresh”, meaning that they were sent for burial on the same day of the execution, so that the witness could Distinguish the trace of the hanging rope on the body’s neck clearly.
The hands of the victims (he calls them in all his testimony “corpses”) were tied back, either with iron or with plastic handcuffs, and given that they were odorless, the witness was able to approach the bodies of Sednaya victims, unlike the bodies coming from other places, but in both cases he did not survive From the pursuit of this and that (Sednaya and other corpses), as his images haunt him in his nightmares to this day.
Here the judge asks: Did you personally conclude that they executed (the victims of Sednaya)?
He replied that the officer accompanying the burial process used to tell them that they were executed at 12 o’clock or one at night inside the prison, and because the burial begins at about five in the morning of the same day, the bodies were still warm, and the coldness of death did not realize them yet, but rather that one of these The “corpses” were alive, and the witness and his team saw them while they were breathing, so the accompanying regime officer ordered to run over the “breathing” body with a bulldozer .. The witness says confirming: I have seen this.
When a judge asks about the names of the intelligence officers who were working under their command, the witness’s lawyer intervenes, objecting to the question, considering that disclosure of such information as for the public may contribute to inferring the identity of the witness and violate the conditions of his protection (Zaman Al Wasl learned that the witness previously mentioned The names of intelligence officers who worked under their command, in the records of the police investigation).
  • Burial with a “debauch”
Returning to the burial process and its “roads,” Z-30 says that someone is in charge of lifting the truck and tilting it from the front to allow the bodies to be unloaded from it by pushing, explaining: “The workers come and the emptying appears .. Bebelhao search the bodies.” That is, they work to push the bodies from the tilted truck until they roll automatically to the pit (the line), and so the bodies fall on top of each other as agreed.
After the bodies are piled up in the pit, the bulldozer (the trax) comes, as the witness called it, and begins to pour dirt over the bodies, and only the section full of corpses is covered, as for what remains of the longitudinal trench is left exposed in preparation for receiving more, and when the trench is completely filled, it is opened A new trench .. and so on.
(A witness reveals the photos and names of dozens of workers at the Death Hospital “601)
The judge asks: Did they empty the corpses?
He answered: That is, yes, they would turn them over, and after that, the wheelers would burial.
Judge: Did the pit fill in one day?
He replies: according to numbers, sometimes for one day, and sometimes it takes how many days, and the drilling is a shape each time (its size is different)
    (Two drivers for all graves)
The man of skin ……. begins his mission at about four o’clock in the morning, he goes to “Najha”, south of Damascus, near the “Ebla Hotel”, to reach her cemetery, or he moves further north to a cemetery in the Qatifah area near the headquarters of the Third Division.
The cemeteries here are exactly the same as military objects, as “approaching and photographing is forbidden.” As for the “van” decorated with the image of “Bashar al-Assad,” it entered its occupants without problems. They have an “official mission” known to everyone who guards the tombs of Najha and al-Qatifa.
The entire burden was on the “work team” supervised by the witness. This did not deny that the intelligence agents “helped” them on some occasions and helped the team members in unloading the trucks of the bodies in the hope of shortening the time. Around nine o’clock in the morning the witness and his team returned to Damascus. Of them the smell of corpses that does not leave them. Some people wear masks sometimes, with or without a “apron” and gloves, and sometimes they cross the bodies without anything … “even alcohol to sterilize what is in”, according to “Z-30”, who adds: “until changing the clothes of what was in.” As a result, Some of his “team” became seriously ill, and some died as a result.
The judge asks if there are other graves other than Najha and Qatifah. The witness replies, explaining that there are other graves belonging to the Fourth and Air Force Division (at the Mezzeh airport), explaining that he learned about these graves from the drivers of “Al-Bagher” and “Turks” who were working at the same time at the same time. Those graves, as well as their work in “Najha” and “Al-Qatifah”.
    (Break down bis)
The witness “Z-30” spent more than 3 hours talking about the “mission” entrusted to him by Al-Assad’s intelligence services between 2011 and 2017, during which he described many horrific scenes and experiences, and he was able to continue despite his exhausting tone, but at three in the afternoon, He reached the limits of collapse, when one of the judges asked him about the presence of women and children among the bodies that he buried, to answer: “He was in women, and there were little girls and boys,” recalling how he had seen for himself the body of a woman under the piles of corpses and had wrapped her arms around her dead child, as if she was hugging him The last, here the witness remembers “it seems that they died together. That day I could not bear it, I collapsed.” It did not take long for the witness to actually collapse in front of the judges, lawyers and attendees, so that one of the members of the judges hurried to him, asking him if he needed a doctor Then, the witness’s lawyer explained that his client was very exhausted and that he had suffered from hypotension, which prompted the judges to adjourn the session to the second day (the time of the connection will be presented to the proceedings of the other session)
As the session was adjourned, the attendees began to leave the hall one by one, and “Anwar Raslan” went out immediately with members of the police assigned to guard him, while another policeman stood in front of “Iyad al-Gharib” asking him to extend his hand to handcuff him .. “Iyad” muttered with a word that the policeman could not understand. … I am standing two meters away from him, only a low wooden table separates us, but it extends high fractures. The policeman turns towards me after noticing that Iyad is looking towards me, to ask me – that is, the policeman – to leave the room immediately, because today’s session is over. So simply “it ended”, but in fact it is the session that was and still is difficult to end, as long as the Asadi Holocaust continues, the regime’s collective graves are empty its insatiable mouths, and the policy of impunity prevails.
Anwar Raslan and Iyad al-Gharib, two former intelligence officers of the Bashar al-Assad regime, are under trial in Germany for crimes against humanity. Both men informed the German authorities of their previous work during the asylum application process.
On Friday (April 24, 2020), the German justice system in Koblenz, western Germany, followed up the details of the tortuous path of two defendants, from their work in the Syrian intelligence services to joining the opposition abroad, in the first trial in the world about violations attributed to the Damascus regime.
During the second day of the historic session, the court tried to understand the path of the highest-ranking defendant, Anwar Raslan (57 years), who was charged with committing a crime against humanity.
Raslan, who expressed his desire to present his statements to the court in writing in the future, must explain his role in the killing of 58 people and the torture of at least 4,000 others in the al-Khatib detention center in Damascus known as “Branch 251”, between April 29, 2011 and September 7. September 2012.
From intelligence to the opposition
For 18 years, Anwar Raslan worked in the Syrian intelligence services, according to an investigator from the German Criminal Police, who was called to testify on Friday. The accused has not hidden his past since he sought refuge in Germany, as some 700,000 Syrians have done since the war began nine years ago. Rather, he was the one who informed the security men at a police station in Berlin of his past, when he applied for protection in February 2015, about five months after his arrival in the country.

At the time, Anwar Raslan felt that he was “threatened by Syrian intelligence agents” because of his joining the opposition in exile after defecting in December, according to the German investigator. The interrogators examined the path of this mustache and beard of a distinctive mole under his left eye. During his two criminal police interrogations, he provided “wide and varied information” about his past activities.

Raslan explained the operations of Branch 251, which was “promoted in its ranks in January 2011 to the highest rank,” in particular the implementation of “arbitrary arrest” operations.

The former Syrian officer confirmed that “violence was also practiced during the investigations,” according to the German investigator who explained in his testimony the various methods of torture in that prison.

However, Ruslan changed his allegiance, fled Syria with his family to join the opposition, and even participated in peace negotiations in Geneva in 2014, and obtained a visa for Germany from its embassy in Amman.

For its part, the Foreign Ministry witnessed Raslan performing a “clear active role” in the opposition. Because of his joining the opposition, the defecting officer had never feared being harassed over his past activities while in Germany, according to German press and Syrian activists.

However, Raslan was arrested in February 2019 with another former intelligence agent, Iyad al-Gharib, who sat during the trial next to him in the dock.

Defection from the army

Iyad al-Gharib, 43, arrived in Germany in April 2018. He also made no secret of his past when he applied for asylum in May of the same year, several years after he defected from the army. In turn, Al-Gharib provided “information about his activities in the Syrian intelligence” to the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees, which is tasked with examining asylum applications.

The man is following in particular for his role in the arrest and imprisonment of 30 people during a demonstration in the fall of 2011, when he was working under the authority of Hafez Makhlouf, the cousin of President Bashar al-Assad and is considered within his narrow circle.
Recently, a close associate of al-Gharib told the German press that the latter was forced to carry out the orders of his commanders even if he was aware of the attacks on the arrested protesters.
This close source, Zain Al-Hussain, told the Süddeutsche Zeitung newspaper that “if he had said even one word, Iyad’s life would not be worth more than a bullet.”
