On Sunday, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev sent a message of condolence to his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, over the martyrdom of Turkish civilians at the hands of the “PKK” terrorist organization in a cave in the Gara region in northern Iraq.

“We were very angry at the horrific terrorist act against civilians, and we strongly condemn all manifestations of terrorism,” he added.

It is noteworthy that the Turkish forces found, earlier, Sunday, the bodies of 13 Turkish citizens when they raided one of the caves of the “PKK” terrorist organization in the Gara region in northern Iraq, as part of the “Eagle Claw-2” operation, which the Turkish Defense Minister declared its end by neutralizing 50 terrorists.
It is worth noting that the Turkish forces launched Operation Eagle Claw-2 in the Gara region in northern Iraq on February 10.
The PKK organization, listed in the terrorist organizations regulations of Turkey, the United States and the European Union, is responsible for the deaths of more than 40,000 people, including children, women and infants, during its terrorist operations that have continued for more than 30 years.
