The Turkish Foreign Ministry, in a statement on the high-level meeting on Syria in its 15th edition, held in Sochi, Russia:
Separatist agendas that target the territorial integrity and political unity of Syria and pose a threat to the national security of neighboring countries have been rejected.
Attention has been drawn to the unacceptable nature of the unlawful opportunistic attempts that are being attempted on the scene (Syria) under the pretext of fighting terrorism.
The Turkish Foreign Ministry confirmed that the guarantor countries of the Astana process, related to the Syrian crisis, rejected the separatist agendas that target the territories of Syria and its political unity.
This came in a statement issued by the Turkish Foreign Ministry, on Wednesday, on the high-level meeting on Syria “Astana-15”, which was held on February 16 and 17 in the Russian city of Sochi.
The statement added: “At the meeting, (the guarantor countries Turkey, Russia and Iran) rejected the separatist agendas that target the territorial integrity and political unity of Syria and pose a threat to the national security of neighboring countries.”
He continued, “Attention was drawn to the unacceptable nature of the illegal opportunistic attempts that are being attempted on the scene (Syria) under the pretext of fighting terrorism.
