Anadolu Agency reported that Akar and his accompanying delegation arrived at the headquarters of the “Spring Shield” area of operations of the Sixth Corps command at Point Zero on the Syrian border.
Akar held a meeting with unit commanders on the border line and beyond, during which they discussed the latest developments in the field and the activities that will be implemented.
And “Spring Shield” is a military operation launched by Turkey against the Syrian regime forces, following a treacherous attack on its forces in Idlib on February 27, 2020.

Anadolu Ajansı, Akar ve beraberindeki heyetin Suriye sınırındaki Sıfır Noktasında Altıncı Kolordu komutanlığına ait “Bahar Kalkanı” harekat alanı karargahına geldiğini bildirdi.
Akar, sınır hattı ve ötesindeki birlik komutanlarıyla bir araya gelerek, sahadaki son gelişmeleri ve uygulanacak faaliyetleri görüştü.
“Bahar Kalkanı” ise Türkiye’nin 27 Şubat 2020’de İdlib’deki güçlerine yönelik hain saldırının ardından Suriye rejim güçlerine karşı başlattığı askeri bir operasyondur.
