Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stressed to German President Walter Steinmeier that no one wants an experience similar to the wave of Syrian immigrants in 2015.
Erdogan said, according to the Anadolu Agency.
Some European countries reduce the issue of immigration to border security only, and he stressed that his country is unable to bear the burdens of a new refugee wave.
The Turkish president indicated that Ankara is looking forward to implementing the March 18, 2016 agreement that Ankara signed with the European Union on migration, in all its dimensions.

Türk cumhurbaşkanı, Ankara’nın Avrupa Birliği ile göç konusunda imzaladığı 18 Mart 2016 tarihli anlaşmayı tüm boyutlarıyla uygulamayı dört gözle beklediğini belirtti.
Resmi hükümet rakamlarına göre Türkiye’de yaklaşık 3 milyon 658 bin 16 mülteci yaşıyor.

وأشار الرئيس التركي إلى أن أنقرة تتطلع إلى تنفيذ اتفاقية 18 آذار، عام 2016 التي وقعتها أنقرة مع الاتحاد الأوروبي بشأن الهجرة، بجميع أبعادها.
ويقيم في تركيا نحو ثلاثة ملايين و658 ألفا و16 لاجئا، وفق أرقام رسمية حكومية.
