In Hatay, southern Turkey, with the aim of helping Syrian women refugees in Turkey, and supporting needy people affected by the war in Syria, the Turkish Humanitarian Relief Agency (IHH) opened a clothes sewing workshop in Hatay, southern Turkey.
The media official for Syria’s activities in the authority, Selim Tosun, told Anatolia on Wednesday that the workshop was opened about a month ago in order to provide job opportunities for Syrian women, including those who lost their husbands in the Syrian war.
He added that 24 women had the opportunity to learn the profession of sewing thanks to the workshop, while at the same time drawing a smile on the faces of the needy through the clothes they sew and sent to Syria.
Toson pointed out that the workshop produces 500 pieces of clothing daily, which are sent to the needy in Syria.
In turn, the 32-year-old Syrian woman, Suha Jarallah, expressed her happiness to work and help the needy in Syria, noting that she is a mother of two children and that her husband was disabled as a result of the war.
For her part, Emtithal Mustafa, 49, said that she took refuge in Turkey with her four children after she lost her husband in the war 8 years ago.
She added that thanks to the vocational training that Syrian women received, they were able to provide a source of income and make the needy in Syria happy.

24 kadının atölye sayesinde dikiş mesleğini öğrenme fırsatı bulduğunu, aynı zamanda dikip Suriye’ye gönderdikleri giysilerle muhtaçların yüzlerini güldürdüğünü sözlerine ekledi.
Toson, atölyede günlük 500 parça giysi üretilerek Suriye’deki ihtiyaç sahiplerine ulaştırıldığına dikkati çekti.
32 yaşındaki Suriyeli kadın Suha Jarallah ise Suriye’de çalışmaktan ve muhtaçlara yardım etmekten duyduğu mutluluğu dile getirerek, iki çocuk annesi olduğunu ve eşinin savaş nedeniyle engelli olduğunu kaydetti.
49 yaşındaki Emtithal Mustafa ise 8 yıl önce eşini savaşta kaybettikten sonra dört çocuğuyla Türkiye’ye sığındığını söyledi.
Suriyeli kadınların aldıkları mesleki eğitim sayesinde hem geçim kaynağı sağladıklarını hem de Suriye’deki ihtiyaç sahiplerini mutlu edebildiklerini sözlerine ekledi.

وأوضح المسؤول الإعلامي لأنشطة سوريا في الهيئة، سليم طوسون للأناضول الأربعاء، أن افتتاح الورشة تم منذ حوالي شهر من أجل توفير فرص عمل للنساء السوريات بما في ذلك اللاتي فقدن أزواجهن في الحرب السورية.
وأضاف أن 24 سيدة اتيحت لهن فرصة تعلم مهنة الخياطة بفضل الورشة، وفي الوقت ذاته يرسمن الابتسامة على وجوه المحتاجين عبر الملابس التي يخطنها ويرسلنها إلى سوريا.
وأشار طوسون إلى أن الورشة تنتج 500 قطعة من الملابس يوميا يتم إرسالها إلى المحتاجين في سوريا.
بدورها، أعربت السيدة السورية سهى جار الله (32 عاما) عن سعادتها بالعمل ومساعدة المحتاجين في سوريا، مشيرة إلى أنها أم لطفلين وأن زوجها أصيب بإعاقة نتيجة الحرب.
من جهتها، قالت امتثال مصطفى (49 عاما) أنها لجأت إلى تركيا مع أطفالها الأربعة بعد أن فقدت زوجها في الحرب قبل 8 سنوات.
وأضافت أنه بفضل التدريب المهني الذي حصلت عليها النساء السوريات، أصبحن قادرات على توفير مصدر دخل وإسعاد المحتاجين في سوريا.
