Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi announced the elimination of 5 Kurdish “People’s Protection Units” fighters in immediate operations launched by his country’s forces in response to the killing of one of its soldiers in the “Euphrates Shield” area north of Aleppo.
“We immediately launched operations against the terrorists who caused the death of our heroic comrade in arms,” Akar said, according to what was reported by Anadolu Agency.
He pointed out that the Turkish armed forces killed 5 Kurdish fighters, according to preliminary information, and seized their bodies.
He stressed that the operations are continuing, and that the number of deaths of the “Kurdish units” will increase in the coming hours.

Türk Silahlı Kuvvetleri’nin ön bilgilere göre 5 Kürt savaşçıyı öldürdüğüne ve cesetlerine el koyduğuna dikkat çekti.
Operasyonların devam ettiğini ve önümüzdeki saatlerde “Kürt birimleri”nin ölümlerinin artacağını vurguladı.
Türk Savunma Bakanı’nın sözleri, Halep kırsalında Kürt Halk Koruma Birlikleri tarafından düzenlenen saldırıda bir askerinin öldürülmesinin ardından geldi.
