Lebanese President Michel Aoun said that Lebanon is no longer able to bear the burdens caused by the continued Syrian exodus to Lebanon.
The Lebanese presidency website stated that “Aoun” informed the Vice-President of the European Commission, Margaritis Scaenas, that “Lebanon is no longer able to bear the burdens caused by the continued Syrian exodus to Lebanon.”
Aoun called on the European Union to work to facilitate the return of displaced Syrians to Syrian safe areas.
