The head of the Iranian Hajj and Visit Organization, Ali Reza Rashidian, announced, after his visit to Damascus, that he had agreed with the regime’s government to resume religious tourism between the two countries, provided that, in the first phase of the agreement, Tehran would send 100,000 Iranians to Syria to visit religious sites.
Iranian TV quoted Rashidian as saying that the regime’s government pledged under this agreement to secure full security for Iranian visitors.
For his part, the Minister of Tourism in the regime’s government said that Damascus wants to “quickly conduct these trips,” noting that his ministry encouraged “Syrian tourism offices to plan to receive Iranian tourists in the near future.”
Group religious trips from Iran to Syria resumed in 2019, but were stopped due to the outbreak of the “Corona” epidemic.

Rejim hükümetinin Turizm Bakanı, Şam’ın “bu gezileri hızlı bir şekilde yapmak” istediğini ve bakanlığının “Suriye turizm ofislerini yakın gelecekte İranlı turistleri kabul etmeyi planlamaya” teşvik ettiğini kaydetti.
İran’dan Suriye’ye grup dini gezileri 2019’da yeniden başladı, ancak “Korona” salgınının patlak vermesi nedeniyle durduruldu.

اتفاق على استئناف السياحة الدينية بين دمشق وطهران
أعلن رئيس منظمة الحج والزيارة الإيرانية علي رضا رشيديان، عقب زيارته دمشق أنه اتفق مع حكومة النظام على استئناف السياحة الدينية بين البلدين على أن ترسل طهران في المرحلة الأولى من الاتفاق 100 ألف إيراني إلى سوريا لزيارة المواقع الدينية.
ونقل التلفزيون الإيراني عن “رشيديان” قوله إن حكومة النظام تعهدت بموجب هذا الاتفاق بتأمين الأمن الكامل للزوار الإيرانيين.
من جهته، قال وزير السياحة في حكومة النظام إن دمشق ترغب في “تسيير سريع لهذه الرحلات”، مشيرا إلى أن وزارته شجعت “مكاتب السياحة السورية للتخطيط لاستقبال السياح الإيرانيين خلال المستقبل القريب”.
وكانت الرحلات الدينية الجماعية من إيران إلى سوريا استأنفت في العام 2019 إلا أنها توقفت بسبب تفشي وباء “كورونا”.
