Requests the Secretary-General to conduct a study on how to enhance efforts, including through existing measures and mechanisms, to clarify the fate and whereabouts of missing persons in the Syrian Arab Republic, to identify the remains of the dead and to provide support to their families, through consultation with the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights and based on to the recommendations of the Commission of Inquiry, with the full and meaningful participation of victims, survivors and their families and in consultation with other relevant actors, and to submit the report to the General Assembly by 1 March 2022
