Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry criticized the military presence of Turkey and Iran in Syria.
Shoukry said that Egypt does not see a reason for Turkey to have a military presence in Libya, Syria and Iraq, expressing concern about “Ankara’s expansionist policies that have emerged during the past ten years.”
He added in a symposium at the Wilson Center for Studies in the United States: “We closely follow Tehran’s policies and their ability to influence the situation in Yemen, Iraq, Syria and Lebanon, and we consider this an interference in the internal affairs of Arab countries.”
And he added, “Iran’s interference is counterproductive, and the relationship must be based on international legitimacy, cooperation, non-interference, and maintaining security and stability in the region, not influence.”

İran’ın müdahalesi ters tepiyor ve ilişki uluslararası meşruiyete, işbirliğine, müdahale etmemeye ve nüfuza değil, bölgede güvenlik ve istikrarı korumaya dayanmalı” dedi.
